Supporting EU Integration Process in Georgian Kvemo-Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti Regions and in the Autonomous Republic of Ajaria

Implemented in cooperation with Jaan Tonisson Institute (Estonia), funded by the Estonian Development Cooperation, the project aimed to increase awareness about the European Union, EU integration process and role of EU in Georgia among the ethnic minorities -Azeris and Armenians residing in the regions of Georgia  as well as among the representatives of the Autonomous Republic of Ajaria.

The improved awareness would help to increase civic participation in policy development and decision making processes. The project empowered the inhabitants of Kvemo-Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions and the Republic of Ajaria to participate in the home and foreign affairs of Georgia, in social, political, economic and cultural life – thus helped to ensure their  equal opportunities in realizing their civil, political, economic and social rights.
