GFSIS enjoys technical and other facilities
GFSIS occupies three stories in a new state of the art building located in the center of Tbilisi. GFSIS's premises are fully equipped with furniture and computer equipment; some 30 computers are connected to LAN and to the Internet through high capacity fiber optic communication line (512 KB/sec) that is used also gfsis_Conference_Hall_1.jpgfor Teleconferencing. GFSIS's premises consist of a number of rooms, conference hall, training facilities, class rooms, dining areas and a verandah.
The entire premises of GFSIS have state-of-the-art air conditioning, water heating and kitchens on each floor (the third floor hosts a wide dining area and kitchen) for the convenience of employees, students and guests of GFSIS. In addition, an area for coffee breaks and a verandah create perfect conditions for conducting different meetings, including unofficial evening parties.
Conference Hall
The conference hall has the occupancy of 100 participants. It is designated for holding conferences and gfsos_open-air_cafe_3.jpgmeetings of all levels, including international and high level official negotiations. It is equipped with a multimedia projector, data communication lines and multi-channel Wi/Fi. The perimeter of the Conference Hall and the whole office are secured with electronic guarding devices satisfying international standards. In addition, we have guards providing security service 24 hours a day. The conference hall has simultaneous translation facilities, a fully equipped box for interpreters, open-air cafe and a canteen.
Meeting Rooms
There are several meeting rooms for carrying out small scale negotiations. Rooms are equipped with comfortable furniture, TV sets and communication facilities. Most importantly, GFSIS provides different training facilities that are adaptable to ggfsis_canteen_5.jpgsessions of various sizes and purposes. There is a computer lab equipped with 11 PCs (Pentium 4) that are connected to LAN and the Internet. A distance-learning program package is also available for integrating any training course for further utilization.
Currently, there is a European Integration training course, Basics in Internet Utilization and E-government courses available for Georgian and international participants.
