Jonne Catshoek holds an MA in International Relations from King's College London, specialising in Conflict Prevention and Diplomacy. In addition, he obtained an interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in International Organisations and International Relations from the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). He also studied European Studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.

Prior to joining CRRC, Mr. Catshoek conducted extensive research and field work for conflict management and peacebuilding organisations in the Caucasus, Europe and Africa. Amongst others, he worked as Research Assistant for International Crisis Group (Dakar), as Peace Mediation and Dialogue Assistant for the Crisis Management Initiative (Brussels) and as Fellow with the Caucasus Research Resource Center (Tbilisi). His main areas of interest include conflict mediation, human rights issues and EU integration.

Jonne speaks English, French, German and Dutch and is currently studying Georgian at Malmà University.
