Julian Schaefer is a master`s candidate in political science at Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany. There, his specialization is in international relations and Islamic sciences. While in Georgia, he is studying the geopolitical constellation of the Southern Caucasus region and the interaction of competing interests of the regional great powers.
