Florence Secula earned a Master's degree in development studies from the Graduate Institute of development studies (IUED), Geneva. Her thesis was on "Women's initiatives for peace and conflict transformation in Northeastern India".  She graduated from Lumiere University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
