Ms. Tinatin Dvalishvili
Ms. Tinatin Dvalishvili is a Media Project Manager at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS). She graduated from the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management in 2004. From 1992 onward she works as a journalist in various media outlets that include newspapers (P.S. and Imereti's Moambe), magazine (Mediator) and a TV company (Ibervizia).

Ms. Dvalishvili took internships at Georgian and foreign TV companies: broadcasting TV companies  Imedi and Rustavi 2 (Georgia), Moscow Bureau of Al-Jazeera Sat TV Channel (Russia).

 

She has actively participated in professional seminars and trainings: Journalistic Ethics (ICFJ); Advertisement and Management (ICFJ); Investigative Journalism (ICFJ; ABA, IREX); How to Write about Elections (ICFJ); Court and Journalism (ALPE; ABA); Media and Self-regulation Mechanisms (Liberty Institute); Election and Journalism (Young Lawyers' Association); Development of Journalist Associations (World Learning); Covering Minorities Issues (Media Diversity Institute);Gender and the World of Work: the Role of the Media (International Labor Organization). On August 11–September 2, 2001 she participated in the International Visitor Program "Journalism in the United States" (financially supported by US Embassy in Georgia).and visited the offices of leading US newspapers  The New-York Times, The Washington Post, The Florida Today, and The Wall Street Journal.

Ms. Dvalishvili is a member of IRE (Investigative Reporters and Editors, USA).

On 2005 she was awarded by Silver NIAMOR for documentary "Nights on Iron Horses" (International Extreme Films Festival).
