Dr. Metreveli is a research fellow and a director of the Centre for Human Security. She holds a Candidate of Science degree from Tbilisi State University in Art History and Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) from the School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a Muskie Fellow in 2000-2001. Her professional expertise lies in the field of governance and she is the author of number of articles on ethnic issues, aid policies and art history. In 2002-2004 Dr. Metreveli was a CEP fellow and taught at Tbilisi State University.
