Boris Eisenbaum is a French independent researcher based at GFSIS. His research is focused on Georgian history during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Boris Eisenbaum has a track record of publications including a book on the geopolitics of Central Asia published in Paris in March 2005. He has also published a series of articles on the former Soviet Union in French reviews and newspapers including les Cahiers de l'Orient, le Moniteur du Commerce International, and le Figaro. Boris Eisenbaum graduated from Oxford University and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He started his professional career with the United Nations Development Programme and then worked in the oil industry. Since 1999 he has been consulting for different international organizations (UN, OECD) as well as for corporate entities.
