Professor Kathy Parkison is a visiting lecturer teaching the Economics Course at the GFSIS for the fellows of a one-year training program in International Relations and National Security. Dr. Parkison is a Fulbright Scholar in Economics from Indiana University Kokomo (IU Kokomo). She is also the Director of a Center for Economic Education at IU Kokomo and is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at IU Kokomo
In 1990 - 1993 she was a Graduate Assistant at Purdue University where she received her Ph.D. in Economics, with a specialization in Industrial Organization and International Trade. Dr. Parkison's articles are published in many different economics journals. She is a member of an American Economic Association, International Atlantic Economic Association, National Council for Economic Education, Western Economic Association and several other professional organizations.
