On April 15, 2004, in the framework of his visit to Georgia, Dr. John Rose, Director of George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany) met with the GFSIS fellows. Dr. Rose discussed international educational programs that Marshall Center regularly offers to military and civilian officials from 51 countries. He answered questions on the specific issues covered in the "Leaders of the 21st Century" and Executive Program courses and talked about the Marshall Center's newest Program on Terrorism and Security Studies (PTSS).
During his visit to Georgia, Dr. Rose plans to meet high-level officials at the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs and National Security Council, where he will discuss the ways in which the Marshall Center can contribute to the development of Georgia's national security and foreign policy strategies and their implementation.
