The seminar on European integration within the framework of the Civil Society Leaders Network was carried out in Kyiv on 10 - 14 June, 2009. The overall theme of the two year program is On-going Democratic Reforms in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Both groups: Group III - Human Rights and Group IV - European Integration each consisted of 6 participants from 5 countries participated in the event. 11 Georgians also visited Kyiv and were successfully trained and participated in the discussions and presentations.

On May 21, 2009 was held a Scientific-Creative Conference Judicial Problems in General Administrative Law", organized by GFSIS and Judicial Faculty of TSU. The scientific-leader of the conference was an Associated Professor of Judicial Faculty of TSU and Leader of Enrollees Preparation center, Irma Kharshiladze. Students represented at the conference some reports about gaps and possible ways of solving them, in General Administrative Law. To the end of the conference, was decided to be organized more large-scale meeting for discussing mentioned questions.

Scientific-Creative Conference "Conflict of under age with a Law"

On March 13, 2009 a Scientific-Creative Conference "Conflict of under age with a Law", organized by GFSIS and Judicial Faculty of TSU was held at GFSIS. The scientific-leader of the conference was an Associated Professor of Judicial Faculty of TSU and Tbilisi Appeal Court Judge Maia Ivanidze. At the conference there were presented reports on defiant reasons of under ages crime, preventing of it and importance of criminal under ages' resocialization-rehabilitation, prepared by initiative group that was established only for working on under age's question.

On October 31st -November 12th 2008 GFSIS hosted the training in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. During the training GFSIS hosted 18 participants, young professionals from various governmental agencies of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Participants where taught by the leading professionals in the fields of human rights and humanitarian law: Prof. Andrea Bianchi from Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, Prof. Yves Sandos, a member of the International Institute of Human Rights and a member of International Committee of Red Cross and Prof. Paul Meerts, from Clingendael Institute, Netherlands.
