Training in Akhalkalaki 21 January 2012

On January 21, 2011 at the regional Public Policy Unit (PPU) of GFSIS in Akhalkalaki, Samtskhe-Javakheti, a training in Advocacy and Lobbying was conducted for the local community leaders, civil society, media, and government representatives of the region.  Ms. Tea Bulia, the trainer at the Partners-Georgia, offered the training.

The training was held under the project National Integration and Tolerance in Georgia.  The aim of the project is to forge a common understanding and vision of the Georgian state among the citizens of Georgia despite their ethnic origin and to promote a national integration process in line with the principles of modern, democratic state.  The project is divided into three components and is implemented at the GFSIS PPU in Akhalkalaki.  The training was part of the project’s first component, which comprises the skills based capacity building activities.
