
The training program was implemented under a cooperative education agreement between the Ministry of Defense and GFSIS. According to the agreement, GFSIS assumed responsibility to design a two-month training program for two cohorts of military officers from the Joint Staff. The training curriculum included courses in International Relations, National and International Security, Military Security, Energy Security, Modern Economy, Civil-Military Relations, European Integration, Preparation of Analytical Documents, Political Risk Analysis and Strategy. GFSIS research fellows and qualified on-call lecturers offered daily training during the two month program.
GFSIS is currently preparing to administer the training program for the second cohort.
