GFSIS in Akhalkalaki Hosted Public Lecture 21 July 2009

 

On July 20 - 21, 2009 the regional resource center of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) in Akhalkalaki hosted the public lecture of the representative of the State Minister on Reintegration Issues in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Mr. Armen Amirkhanian.  The audience included representatives of civil society and local government of Samtskhe-Javakehti. The theme of the lecture was the National Concept on Tolerance and Civic Integration Policy of the Government of Georgia. The lecture was followed by an engaging discussion.

The event was held under the framework of the program, Enhancing Capacity of Ethnic Civil Society Groups to Actively Participate in Pubic Policy Debate, supported by the Government of Finland and implemented by GFSIS.
